Our weekly challenge

Each week we pose a mathematical challenge and run a prize draw for those finding the correct solution. Presented by a number of different academics, each challenge aims to stretch the mind (rather than blow any fuses)… so we expect a lot of competition entries. The solution to each challenge is shown on this website one week after the challenge is first posted.
